| 内容記述 | Based on the studying and manufacturing of the NIAS G-1 glider reported in the former paper, the NIAS G-3 to G-5 gliders were newly designed and manufactured by the students, then the G-5 glider participated in the 22nd Birdman Rally Contest. Before designing these gliders, a few kinds of studies were carried out such as comparative flight tests of the delta wing typed, swept wing typed and ordinary wing typed gliders as well as wind tunnel tests of some kinds of wing sections. This paper deals with the details of the studies mentioned above and reports the results of the Birdman Rally Contest. |
